TalentMap is a decision-support tool that assists recruitment professionals in evaluating local, regional and national talent markets.
TalentMap data is derived from a combination of sources that include licensure data, professional associations, market research and surveys.
It is important to note that TalentMap data does not reflect the total size or composition of a given talent pool. Rather, TalentMap data reflects that share of the total talent market for which we have access to postal and/or e-mail addresses.
Users of TalentMap data should be aware that both U.S. Census data and the occupational data used in TalentMap may rely on market research and self-reporting surveys. Data derived via self-reporting could be impacted by varying degrees of self-report bias. Data on total population and non-white population totals are derived from the most recent U.S. Census data available.
What is a TouchPoint?
A touchpoint is the interface of a business, a service or a brand with customers, non-customers, employees and other stakeholders before, during and after a transaction or purchase.
In TalentMap TouchPoint Marketing, recruitment touchpoints reflect the number times information about a specific job opening “touches” a prospective candidate. We confirm these touchpoints with data from page views, clicks and e-mail opens and by estimating the readers of direct mail and other offline media.
What's the difference between a touchpoint and an impression?
An impression is the act of displaying some type of banner/text advertisement on a Web page. If a Web page displays ten ads, this counts as ten impressions. The problem with impressions is that there is no way of knowing if the visitor actually viewed your banner/text ad. Generally, less than one percent of site visitors will click on a banner/text ad. A touchpoint occurs when your intended audience actually clicks, opens or views your advertisement.
What is a page view?
We count each time a user visits a single Web page as a page view. Page views are tracked by website monitoring applications that record traffic to websites. In TalentMap TouchPoint Marketing services, we include as page views the number of times your Web ad was presented to a user (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) and the number of times users viewed the landing pages associated with your job marketing campaign.

How is TalentMap TouchPoint Marketing able to guarantee a specific amount of page views?
Based on past campaign averages, we can guarantee a minimum amount of page views (including ad views). In the event that one of our campaigns does not perform as expected, we will extend the campaign until we achieve the minimum page views promised.Why use Direct Mail?
No medium reaches a higher percentage of healthcare professionals who are likely to work for you. Job board postings reach less than 5% of healthcare professionals who live within 15 miles of your facility.
Direct mail delivers your message in an "uncluttered" environment. While it is true that each of us receives a significant amount of "junk mail," the amount of advertising we receive via direct mail is a fraction of the advertising received via broadcast, print and Web-based media.
No medium has a longer shelf life than direct mail. Unlike most other media whose shelf live is measured in minutes, direct mail has a shelf life of several weeks. Your message may also get "passed along" to other people, creating buzz and facilitating referrals.

Can you remove names of our own employees from your mailing list?
Yes. For an additional fee of $350, we will be happy to remove your employees from the mailing list. We will need a spreadsheet containing at least the name and ZIP Code of each employee. Full addresses are preferred for better accuracy.
Are the lists you provide home addresses?
In most cases, the lists are home addresses. We will inform you if more than 10% of the addresses are "business-type" addresses. For an additional $350, we can remove all "business-type" addresses.
Where do you obtain your nursing specialty lists from?
We use a proprietary third-party vendor that compiles lists from a combination of sources that include state licensure data, professional associations, market research and surveys.
How often are your nurse specialty lists updated?
A questionnaire is mailed to all licensed RNs every 6 months.
- Completing the form is optional (there are incentives for RNs to complete the form).
- Specialty information is self-reported by the licensed RN in the questionnaire.
- If an RN does not respond to any of the 3 questionnaires within 18 months. they are removed the specialty list.
Example of the list usage: Professional organizations use these lists in order to promote membership.
Can my agency provide you the creative?
Yes. We can provide your agency with specifications for the type of mailing you choose and for the associated Web landing page. No additional fee is required.
Can you combine mailing lists?

What is included in your pricing? Are there any extra charges?

Do you provide any type of metrics?
Yes. When using our Web landing pages with their custom destination URLs, we will provide you with the number of page views/visitors, click-throughs to your employment site, and visitors who clicked on the "Apply" link.

What is the turnaround time for Direct Mail?
Our Web-based fulfillment process reduces delivery times to 5-10 business days.
Copywriting and design for your direct mail piece and landing page are typically completed within 2 business days.
Depending on the mailing list you have selected, your direct mail campaign is printed and mailed via First Class postage 3-5 business days after you approve our proofs.

Do we need to have a Facebook page to advertise?

Why use Google AdWords?
Google AdWords is a cost-effective way to target both active and passive candidates. You can geo-target your audience and micro-target using keywords and phrases that relate to the specific occupation advertised.
Unlike most job board media, you pay only for ad performance. This is called the pay-per-click pricing model.
We charge a minimum fee to set up your ads, to create a landing page to gather metrics, and to manage your AdWords campaign. We will consult with you to set up the campaign duration and budget.

Why use LinkedIn Ads?
LinkedIn enables you to target advertisements to a U.S. audience of over 32,000,000 members or a worldwide audience of over 66,000,000 members. Advertisers can target by geography, industry, company size, job function and seniority. (LinkedIn also supports gender/age targeting, although employers are not likely to use these filters.)
LinkedIn allows advertisers to pay per click or to pay per impression. LinkedIn does not require long-term commitments, and you can stop your advertisements whenever you want.
